Sunday School meets at 9:30 AM. Children twelve and younger are invited to sit at the front of the auditorium, where they are asked their catechism questions. preschool children are encouraged to learn the Catechism for Young Children, while school aged children memorize a Baptist version of the Westminster Shorter Catechism. These questions and answers provide a good summary of biblical doctrine and help to build a foundation for understanding the teachings of scripture.
After the catechism, the children are dismissed downstairs to their classes. Currently there are two classes: one for preschoolers through kindergarten and another for first grade and up. Both classes are studying the stories of the Bible, with an emphasis on review.
The adult class typically studies the 1689 Confession, although other studies may also be pursued.
