- God works through the sin of Rebekah and Jacob
- Genesis 27:5-29
- Given the disaster which came when Abraham tried to accomplish God's ends through sinful means, we expect a similar disaster when Jacob and his mother deceive Isaac. Certainly there are terrible consequences to be borne for their sin, but in this case God actually accomplishes His purpose through their sin.
